These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Onlinekar Bill Book mobile application (the "App") operated by onlinekar ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the App.
1. Description of Service
Onlinekar Bill Book is a digital ledger and bookkeeping tool designed for small businesses and individuals. The App provides the following services:
- Recording of financial transactions (Credits/Debits).
- Customer balance tracking.
- Generation of UPI payment links and QR codes.
- Sending payment reminders via third-party apps (e.g., WhatsApp, SMS).
- Generation of reports (PDF/Excel).
2. User Accounts
2.1. Registration
To use the App, you may be required to register using your mobile number. You agree to provide accurate and current information. Verification is done via OTP (One Time Password).
2.2. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and device. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Use of Financial Features
3.1. Digital Ledger (Khata)
The App allows you to record transactions. You acknowledge that:
- We do not verify the accuracy of the entries you make.
- The App acts solely as a record-keeping tool.
- We are not responsible for any disputes arising between you and your customers regarding the balances recorded in the App.
3.2. UPI and Payment Collections
The App generates UPI QR codes and payment links based on the UPI ID you provide.
- Direct Transaction: All payments are Peer-to-Peer (P2P) between your customer and you. The money goes directly from their bank account to yours via third-party UPI apps.
- No Liability: We do not touch your money. We are not liable for any failed transactions, pending payments, or fraud committed by third parties.
- Verification: It is your responsibility to verify that the money has been credited to your bank account before releasing goods or services.
4. User Conduct and Reminders
The App allows you to send payment reminders via WhatsApp or SMS.
- Anti-Harassment: You agree to use this feature professionally. You must not use the App to send abusive, threatening, or harassing messages to your customers.
- Consent: You represent that you have the right to contact the customers whose details you add to the App.
5. Data Ownership and Backup
5.1. Your Data
You retain ownership of the customer data and transaction history you enter into the App.
5.2. Data Loss and Backup
By default, your data is stored on your device. You are responsible for using the "Backup & Restore" feature regularly. We are not liable for any loss of data due to device failure, theft, or user error.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onlinekar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the App.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Binjharpur, Jajpur, Odisha.
